Born and raised in Greenwood, Mississippi, James Johnson served honorably in the United States Army from 1985 to 2012 as an Airborne soldier. His military journey began at Fort Knox and concluded with his final duty station in Korea. Now serving as Trustee for the Mayaguez VFW Post, James is dedicated to supporting fellow veterans and honoring the legacy of those who served before and beside him.
